Closed Out NDS and More Puget

I closed out all my arb position in NDS Group PLC (Ticker: NNDS) today yielding a return of 7.46% over a 2.5 week period. I rolled the proceeds from NDS Group PLC into more Puget Energy Holding (Ticker: PSD). There was some weakness in Puget Energy Holding today so I decided to take the plunge. As they say in poker, “I’m all in”. The annualized return on Puget Energy Holding is over 130% based on a Friday closing.

Any thoughts? Old news, but it is all cash and in your field of interest.

Astellas $16 cash bid for CV Therapeutics, Inc.(CVTX), subsequently rejected.

CVTX Q3 Press release shedding some light on their interest in CVTX. Apparently Astellas and Texas Pacific Group have helped fund the development of a drug about to be marketed.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on this one as well as Genentech. I'm waiting for the Puget deal to close so I can redeploy the cash. What bothered me was that Astellas stated that it was their best offer. Does that mean their final offer?
