Mutual Funds: The Good and The Bad

I've never been a big fan of actively managed mutual funds. You tend to pay for poor performance. Over the past years, I've invested in several mutual funds in my 401k. The best performing fund for me has been the Fidelity Contra fund. A great manager / fund with solid returns year after year.

I've also invested in a few dogs such as the PBHG growth fund. That was ugggllly! Enough said!
